Jack Culliton

Jack enjoys life in the Capital District.  Jack especially likes being involved at his son’s house in Poestenkill making maple syrup.  The photos below show Jack with his son and children making maple syrup.  Some twelve hours after he started the process they had two gallons of great New York maple syrup.

Jack never expected in a million days when we left CCHS in 1966 he would be making maple syrup.  This summer’s goal according to his son is for Jack to build a sugar house for his operation.  Return to our blog and see if Jack meets the goal his son sets for him this summer.

Below is Jack with his son.

Below we see those young inquiring minds at work.  Maybe one of those two will be a future maple syrup producer?  Both of the children are about 21/2 years old.  Jack’s grandson, also Jack Culliton, is in the yellow jacket.  The other young boy in the blue jacket is a friend.

San Diego Accommodations

It has come to our attention that one of our classmates, Linda (Gress) York who lives in San Diego California operates a Bed & Breakfast in Pacific Beach in Mission Bay Park.  Linda tells us they have two rooms each with Morning Kitchens, and a pool/patio area.  Her place of business is the Beach Hut B&B San Diego

You can find her place of business at BedandBreakfast.com and search under Beach Hut B&B.  Otherwise, look for her B&B using  TripAdvisor and search for Beach Hut B&B.

They are in the process of redoing their web site. When the new web site is complete, we will update this blog with her new web address and send you an email too.   Meanwhile you can reach the B&B at any of the links in this blog.
